Hits Daily Double is predicting that Christina Aguilera's "comeback" album, "Lotus" will sell somewhere between 75K and 80K copies opening week.
By the end of its first sales week, "Lotus" will have sold about 35K less than the opening week numbers for its predecessor "Bionic."
Christina has been dragged enough over the past year, so I'll just let the numbers speak for themselves:

In other news, One Direction is slated to snatch Bieber's bowlcut because their sophomore album "Take Me Home" is projected to sell somewhere between 525K and 575K. Even if "Take Me Home" hits the lowerside of the sales projection, it'll still be more than the 521K Justin Bieber sold with his sophomore album "Believe" earlier this year.
Last but certainly not least, Lana Del Rey's "perfect" re-release "Born To Die: The Paradise Edition" is projected to sell somewhere between 65K and 70K. Werk!

ReplyDeletei kinda figured that this album wouldn't sell very well, she didn't start doing real promo for it until like a week ago and the album leaked two weeks ago and though it's not bad, it's just too gay (and i say this as a gay man) and though it's radio friendly it's not really doing anything new.
i love the intro though; best use of a sample i've heard recently too.

yea, but the voice hasn't really done anything for her image,in fact, that shows actually probably done more damage to her image than good.

everyone knows she's talented, but she has a pervasive reputation of being a horrible person and this show was an opportunity for her to overhaul her image and trick america into embracing her and supporting her projects and she didn't take advantage of that opportunity.
