Kanye West and co are keeping press mild before the release of the G.O.O.D. Music album, Cruel Summer, which is out a week from today. I guess they're hoping the CD will sell itself based on the singles.

"Mercy" is by far the best song on the album, which is a shame. The snippets don't give me any hopes of this album outdoing Watch the Throne... but there were a lot of songs I know I am going to love, like Kid Cudi's "Creepers" or the Marsha Ambrosius feature, "The One."
I'll leave the final judgement to the final, full-length listen of the album, which I'm still really excited about.
