Such a shame when artists who used to have a spot atop the industry can barely get an album out without any worries. Ashanti has pushed her album back two months from April 17 to June 19th.
It's reported that her management is a tad worried about how her promotion has failed to meet the desired amount of "buzz." I don't blame them, though. It's hard to push a sound the world seems to be bored of. Even Beyoncé saw personally low hype during the beginning of her 4 era (but that was Beyoncé and she still went on to slay lives in the end.)
I personally blame management. It's time to shape up and get with the times. I've seen a lot of artist drop management because they weren't able to predict how the industry would turn. She needs to hire me, tbh.
