My thoughts:
1. It sounds like all the songs from "Teenage Dream" have been remixed into one track. I hear "California Girls," I hear "The One That Got Away" in the bridge and I can hear "Last Friday Night."
2. The guitar rif reminds me of Britney's "He About To Lose Me," it has the same melody as "Hold It Against Me" and "Till The World Ends." I could sing all of these songs over this instrumental.
3. The drums remind me of the drums in the chorus of Jessie J's "Domino," another Dr. Luke produced track.
And I could go on... but anyways. Clearly, this is a song made for the charts. It's a mix of everything that's already out there.

Perry and Jackson will remain tied for the most Hot 100 toppers from any album regardless of the performance of any singles from Confection. Should any song released from Confection reach No. 1, it would count as a Hot 100 No. 1 from Confection and not Dream.So if "Part Of Me" will reach the #1 spot on the Hot 100, it won't give her that record.

ReplyDeleteyou peoiple need to realise that this leaked almost 2 years ago and was recorded around the time same time everything else on TD was recorded and before Domino, TTWE, HIAM and HATLM which basically has the same intro at Teenage Dream

I loved this song when it first leaked like 2 years ago, and wondered why it never made the cut. It's nice to hear it now "remixed", a bit refreshing. I smell a #1!!!
