Last november, Katy Perry said that the Teenage Dream era was over. Everyone was happy that she was going to release some new material soon. She was going to take a year off to spend times with her "loved ones," but we guess her plans have changed...
Katy Perry's team has done all kinds of desperate things to get Katy that 6th #1 single for "The One That Got Away." They've released a single version, a version featuring B.o.B. and a few days ago, Katy released an acoustic version of TOTGA on iTunes.
Well... all those things have not helped her getting that #1, and when you just think she and her team are going to give up... they come up with another idea. Let's re-release Teenage Dream y'all! "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection"
According to Amazon and Best Buy, Katy Perry is going to release "The Complete Confection" on March 13th. It has not been anounced yet if the re-release will contain some new songs, maybe about Russel, or just some remixes.

ReplyDeleteif there are new songs on the album, i'm sure they'll be great, but katy and her team are beating this like a dead horse. the album itself is phenomenal in my opinion. each song IS/WAS worthy of being a single, but it shouldn't be about the numbers. we first heard california girls in summer of 2010. stretching an era over almost 2 years?! that's just ridiculous. time for some new material and a new era. idk if she can top the success of teenage dream though. fingers crossed.
