Save Rock & Roll!

That's the title up the 5th studio album from one of the three rock bands that filled my iPod in high school. The new single is called "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark" and I'm pleasantly surprised at the growth. The vocals are really incredible, reaching Adam Lambert heights, but Patrick manages to maintain his signature growling vocal style.

America's Suitehearts are back. After going on hiatus in November 2009, Fall Out Boy have returned with a new single, album and tour. "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)" is the Chicago group's first new music since "Alpha Dog," from their 2009 Greatest Hits compilation. The new tune is packed with stadium-sized theatrics and Patrick Stump's scorching wail. Always proud of their hometown, the band shot the video at the site of the original Comiskey Park, the location of the infamous Disco Demolition Night in 1979.

"My Songs" is the first single from Fall Out Boy's forthcoming fifth studio record, Save Rock and Roll, out May 7th. The record also marks the 10th anniversary of the band's debut full length, Take This to Your Grave. It will be their first LP since 2008's Folie á Deux. During their hiatus, the musicians have focused on solo project. Patrick Stump released his solo debut, Soul Punk, in October 2011, and Pete Wentz has kept busy with his electropop project Black Cards.

Fall Out Boy have also set a tour for this May that they'll preview with a series of special shows this week: They'll play Subterranean in Chicago tonight, Webster Hall in New York tomorrow and Los Angeles' Roxy on Thursday. Fall Out Boy will kick off the Save Rock and Roll tour on May 14th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Full tour dates are below. For more information, visit Fall Out Boy's website.
