5 Best Things About King Bey's Halftime Show

Let's face it. Bey's high-voltage Super Bowl halftime light show was the best in recent history. Not even Madonna's awkward workout routing with LMFAO was a match for Beyonce's gigantic over-lit silhouettes and ending halo smoke ring (even though Madge technically pulled better numbers). The show even eventually caused a few minutes of power loss in the arena. Too many lights or illuminati were Bey's vocals really that good?

Here are my five most memorable moments of Bey's show.

5 - The Stage Was Also A Flowing Weave

Beyonce's stage fans are so powerful that even the stage's hair started blowing halfway through the show. Seriously, if you didn't catch it, watch the performance again. The stages hair is literally blowing.

4 -Kelly's & Michelle's Microphone Levels

They were about half as loud as Bey's. Just like old times.

3 - Bey's Outfit 

Probably the best stage costume she's ever worn. You just can't go wrong with a leather uniform that shows off the sexiest parts of your body. Just about every pop star has done it, but they've never looked this good while doing it. Surely designer Rubin Singer is going to have a boost in clientele after this. I must add that Michelle's one-sleeved skirted leotard was also noticeably chic.

2 - Kelly & Michelle Do "Single Ladies" Backup

In my mind, Destiny's Child reunited in 2008 and put out the video for "Single Ladies." You can't even imagine the critical levels of slayage I experienced when Kelly & Michelle began to J-Set.

1 - Michelle's Boots

My heart sank when she popped from under the stage. Her landing may not have scored 10s across the board, but miraculously she did not bite the dust. The true hero of the Superbowl was a solid pair of boots that were able to hold up the weakest ankles in R&B/Gospel.
