Like many other times, just when Beyoncé's ready to steal the spotlight for herself, here comes Britney being the cockblocking scene-stealer (in all fairness, Beyoncé has done the same to Britney from time-to-time).
Nonetheless, 2002's "Austin Powers: Goldmember," the third movie in the "Austin Powers" franchise, featured Beyoncé as the lead female role...but before Beyoncé's character was even introduced, Britney Spears had a hil-ari-ous surprise cameo during the film's opening.
Now that was a true femme fatale.
The "Oops" and "..Baby One More Time" references, the backup dancers - solidifying Britney's place as a rising leader for the gays, obviously the duel between Britney and Austin Powers. Not to mention Britney serving life; I forget how INSANE her body was.
What really made the cameo special was that it came at a time where the internet and consistent 24-hour media fixation wasn't spoiling things, so the cameo was a total surprise and made it all the sweeter.
Rumors of a Britney cameo in "The Hangover 3" have been circulating since late last year and have just re-surfaced so hopefully we'll get more "cameoney" in 2013!
