You can admit it, calling the song "basic," "boring," etc. on first listen and now every time you hear it you "turn that shit up."
"Scream & Shout" has climbed into the Billboard Hot 100 from No. 12 to No. 8!
The United States has officially become the 20th (!!) country to shoot will.i.am and Britney Spears' breakout hit into the Top 10 on its official chart. I don't think anyone expected this kind of success. Britney stans won't admit it but, to a lessor extent, Britney needed Will's charting influence in some countries just as much as he needed hers in others.
This is Britney Spears' 13th song to appear in the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 and will.i.am's first as the lead artist. On the Digital Songs chart, 'S&S' slid a meager 29%, selling 203,000 copies and is now certified platinum (1,123,000).
In other news, Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven" retains the top spot on the chart. Another breakout hit, "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, soared five spots from No. 10 to No. 5. Below is this weeks Hot 100 Top 10, the full chart will be released tomorrow:
1. "Locked Out of Heaven" - Bruno Mars
2. "Diamonds" - Rihanna
3. "I Knew You Were Trouble" - Taylor Swift
4. "Ho Hey" - The Lumineers
5. "Thrift Shop" - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
6. "Home" - Phillip Phillips
7. "Beauty & A Beat" (ft/ Nicki Minaj) - Justin Bieber
8. "Scream & Shout" (ft/ Britney Spears) - will.i.am
9. "One More Night" - Maroon 5
10. "I Cry" - Flo Rida
bow to the Queen. let the slaying of 2013 begin. ALL HAIL QUEENEY
ReplyDeletePower of Godney!!! Britney is obviously the selling part of this song but Will helped boost sales in the UK. It's actually getting a lot more radio spins now & is really taking off. And to think that neither of them are promoting it-at all! Only Britney can sit on her ass while her song climbs the top of the charts lol Legend!
ReplyDeleteDamn, Diamonds is no.2?
ReplyDeleteYep. It's all good though since it climbed from No. 3. to No. 2.
