Before They Blew Up: Gaga's Love Letter to Brit

Thursday, January 3, 2013

Whoa! 2008 seems like it was just yesterday, but 4 years have already come and gone. Some singers have evolved into pop stars. Some legends have officially fizzled out.

Lady Gaga is definitely not the latter! She's become such a powerful force in pop, people have compared her to Britney, Madonna and even Michael Jackson (when it comes to putting on a crazy show). But let's take a look back to when Lady Gaga was still excited at the idea of hearing her song on the radio.

Back in 2008, Lady Gaga penned a blog dedicated to one of her then idols, Britney Spears. She's a total stan. Check out the cuteness below.

In response to the flood of comments ive received re: britney due to my radio interview. yes. rumors are true. i wrote TWO songs on it :). And no i will never tell you the names, buy her album and find me in the credits. And her comeback is going to make you all pee yours pants and wish you never posted those dumbass utube videos. Because really, what is more rockn'roll than going on stage under the influence in your panties. Nothing! Absolutely nothing. And yes im partial because, i used to do that. Love love love you B.

Some stans would swear they hate each other so we should to. Nonsense.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. Madonna loves Gaga.
She has said countless times how much Gaga is talented and a great performer but does that cause a stir? nope.
When Madge says how the situation between their fans is ridiculous bull shit that does.
As a 100% Madonna fan I can say I love Gaga too. Little monsters on the other hand... They will alienate potential Gaga fans which she will need to maintain longevity in her career.

  6. Gaga's always loved Britney. Back when Telephone was blowing up, insiders reported that Gaga and her father were talking to Britney at a club and she was all starstruck. They apparently talked about working together, but this was before Gaga decided to go all serious and independent with BTW.

  7. I still don't know how I feel about a collab with these two...i don't think the Chemistry will be believable.
