This is so long overdue. I've been wanting to compare the ultimate wig wearers and snatchers in pop music.
I'm going to show you some choices and you let me know who puts their wigs to use best.
Britney Spears
Choice Wig Color - Pink
Upside: If you really think about it, Britney's post-meltdown wig wearing really made these colored wigs cool again. I think gave Britney to confidence to make Blackout and make it the greatest album of all time.
Downside: Instead of using the iconic pink in the Gimme More video, she cut the hair off of a bunch of barbie dolls and sprinkled it over her scalp. I saw the same wig on a fat tranny counting quarters outside the liquor store trying to rack up $2.89 for a pint of Skol.
Rihanna
Choice Wig Color - Dirty Mop Blond
Upside: Nothing. Well, it gave me Tina Turner teas.
Downside: She didn't realize she was the obvious butt of a horrid, horrid joke.
Choice Wig Color #2 -The Little Mermaid Red
Upside: This wig was everything. She looked flawless, 95% of the time.
Downside: When she permed it and made it all curly, then Chris Brown's hair was yellow and people were making ketchup and mustard jokes... oh, good times.

Beyoncé
Choice Wig Color - Cowardly Lion Gold
Upside: Beyoncé's hair is usually fucking flawless.
Downside: Beyoncé looks amazing with darker hair, but she almost never wears it. It would help humanize her. Then there's that nappy afro that I can never get used to. It also never looks like her real hair. I feel like that shouldn't be the case.
Nicki Minaj
Choice Wig Color - Open A Box Of Crayola Crayons and Choose.
Upside: I assume Nicki Minaj burned all of her hair off with a perm, so the wigs are saving her from being exposed as a nappy, edgeless hoodrat. Plus, the colored wigs are better than that wet and wavy travesty featured in the "Right Thru Me" video. Oddly enough, the wigs also work in favor of her hip-hop and pop image.
Downside: Sometimes A lot of the time the wigs are a bit overwhelming.
Katy Perry
Choice Wig Color - Extremely Fucking Blue
Upside: Katy is fucking gorgeous. She would look good with a Tupac bald shave. The wigs, though, help define her "character" as an artist. They make her more fun. When she gets serious, she just takes it off.
Downside: Learn when enough is enough, Katy. You need to lose it more often.
Lady Gaga
Choice Wig Color - Cruella DeVille
Upside: Gaga isn't particularly good looking, so sometimes the wigs can give her a model-esque edge. The also help her maintain her theatrical image.
Downside: Lady Gaga is overexposed in general, so for the few who don't like her, it just gives you something to hate about her.

um....I want to say Brit cuz im a Brit stan...butttt I honestly would hate it if she wore wigs like the others...but I'd have to say the red wig for Rihanna....:D I do love the Little Mermaid
