Usher has finally visited Saturday Night Live for a performance of "Climax" and his latest single "Scream".
Usher is still good in what he does. He knows how to entertain and move, and his vocals are okay. I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but Usher's vocals arent that strong anymore. He didn't sing any of the notes in the chorus of "Scream", he just did some adlibs that were much lower than the original notes. He knows how to work and sing around the notes. It's very entertainful to watch, but it isn't as great as a lot of people will rate it.
"Climax" sucked. I was expecting a lot more. Yes he did 'hit' all the right notes (well....), but was he giving a high quality performance, no. It wasn't good, it was mediocre. And that's not what we're used to.
"Scream" was better, much better, but as I said: He was working/singing around the original notes. The performance has made me like the single more tho.
Usher has been lacking ever since he started using autotune, which is sad. What are your thoughts? Let us know.
I don't know how to feel about these performances! - i love both of these songs. He should of done more with Scream. Dancers and great dancing!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding? SNL has a really boring stage... you can't even dance there, Usher did a really good Job and he also have strong vocals, Remon you better should stop acting like you hear Usher everyday in the Studio LOL
