No matter how much you dislike her music, you can't deny that her beauty is flaw-free. Rihanna is an absolutely stunning woman, no doubt about it... but recently her hair has just been underwhelming.
I dug everything up to the extremely loud red little mermaid wig she paraded around in for the majority of last year. That was cute...
... but then she went on to that awful blond mop with the untouched dark roots. Normally I'm here for contrasting roots if they're styled, but she was just doing whatever, walking around looking unwashed and greasy. I couldn't get into it. There was also the occasional brown curly sew in that just really looks like a quick trip to Hair World,... you know, the one between the liquor store and the Citi Trends? Yeah.
Well, now she's back to a decent hairdo that shows off her amazing face, but something that bothers me is that I see her fans running around Twitter claiming she's a trendsetter and that no one else could pull this off. Let us not forget that Cassie has been rocking this for a LONG time and slaying it, to say the least. (See Here) I'm sure a lot of you baldilocks bitches with no sides of edges will start rocking it now that Rihanna is, but let's ignore history.
All that aside, I'm just happy Rihanna looks like a celebrity again, and not another light skinned bitch at the club trying to pull off blond.

ReplyDeleteI think she looks beautiful, but I agree that after so many "interesting" looks as of late, she looks boring... beautiful but blending in with all the rest of the girls.

ReplyDeleteI loved how Cher Lloyd rocked this hair cut. Rihanna hmmm... it just seems like she is too late for this hair style,I feel like this is so last year.
