First things first: Happy Birthday, Rihanna!
As much shade as I throw at her on Twitter and on the blog, I absolutely adore her music. She's really making great moves in the industry, and no one can hate on the money she's making.
That aside, Rihanna has tweeted that she's setting up a studio in her hotel room and will spending her big day recording. I don't know if she's ferociously desperate to get a #1 album or if she's amped from taking home another Grammy, but I'm praying for a quality album that I feel can't happen when you pop out an album ever week. At this rate, Rihanna will have 47 albums by 2015 (assuming the world exists then.)
Also raising eyebrows today was Chris Brown and Rihanna finally sharing public words on Twitter this morning. No big deal, in my opinion, but my Google News was full of articles about it... I guess that's amongst rumors that Chris will be featured on the "Birthday Cake" remix that everyone is PRAYING we get today!
...but back to the topic at hand, is Rihanna burning herself out releasing albums at this rate? I will admit Rihanna has the unequivocal ability to make radio hits, but when does it become too much?
I am one of the biggest members of her NAVY but she really needs the rest this year... she should go on tour on something and comeback in 2013 with a killer #1!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's too music. I was fine with LOUD being so soon after Rated R...because of the breif gap between Rated R and Good Girl Gone Bad....but talks of another album already....it's just too music. She needs to go away for a bit. People will love her all the more when she comes back
ReplyDeleteShe's still getting #1 hits, so I don't see much of a reason to stop. We've been used to hearing her on the radio for years now, so I don't think anyone is sick of her.
ReplyDeleteLOL 47 albums by 2015
ReplyDeleteI guess she's just trying to do as much as she can before reaching her peak, because sooner or later people will get bored of her.
ReplyDeleteshe's not gonna stop until she ends up in the hospital...seriously.
