Adele has a lot to smile about right now. Not only was her management miraculously able to find another black dress for her to wear to the Brit Awards, but she also took home the nights biggest honor. Then, after the show, the numbers for this weeks album sales came in.
Welp. Adele sold another 700,000 copies of her album 21, more than any other week for her album. This serves as the greatest Grammy boost of all time and also swipes the record for most weeks at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. To add insult to injury, her freshman album 19, sold 85,000 copies.
Just to clarify, that's US only.
