Xtina Performs 'Let There Be Love' On 'The Voice'

Tuesday, November 20, 2012

Well damn, X - you better milk this show for all it's worth!

Tonight, Christina Aguilera and the acts on her team, Dez Duron and Sylvia Yacoub, performed "Let There Be Love," a track from Xtina's new album "Lotus."

All things considered, Christina really committed to this show - unlike JLo who only used American Idol as an outlet to push her music straight out of the gate - Christina really put effort to the show and contestants. Christina didn't push new music fresh out of the gate, instead devoting her time to bettering her contestants and trying to make the show a success.

With that in mind, it's good to see that NBC is paying her back by giving her, nearly, three straight airings of the show to promote her new music.

Watch the performance below!

Legend X demands love and she's gonna get it, because I was feeling this performance. Not only was this more energetic and fun than the American Music Awards performance of the song, but she was on point vocally - for the most part - and most importantly, she left much belting to the background vocalists/backtrack, only resorting to adlibs.

I really liked her team getting involved with singing the song too. The male singer, Dez sounded good...it was sort of nice to hear a male vocal on the track, and it didn't hurt that he wasn't too bad to look at either. Ha.
