(I'm sure the links will drop so bare with me and I'll try to keep them working).
Longer snippets from Christina Aguilera's upcoming album "Lotus" have leaked. Check them out below:
Entertainment Weekly: Backed by megaproducers Max Martin, Shellback, and Lucas Secon, and boosted by The Voice, Lotus should have been Aguilera's mainstream pop comeback. Occasionally she can still power through a chorus like a Russian weight lifter (see: ''Sing for Me''). Too bad most of these tracks digitally smother her voice, draining all the emotion until she just sounds bitter. It's unclear whom she's mad at here. But somehow Lotus makes you want to root for the other guy. |
4Music on track "Circles" Oh dear, Christina isn't happy. She really isn't happy. This song may start off all plinky-plonky and soft, but beware, by the chorus she's throwing tonnes of attitude and sass our way! If you liked the boldness and brashness of Makeover from her Stripped album, you'll love this. Play this down the phone to your boyfriend if he's not doing good by you. Prepare yourself for the last two words of the song. Powerful. Strong. Expletive. Naughty, Christina. |
LTBL, MTWM, RHKL: were the only good, single worthy material. The rest sounds like a SCREAM feast.
ReplyDeleteATW, C: i have to hear the whole thing to decide if its good.

ReplyDeleteToxic (unplugged version) LMFAO
So.... are there no sexy songs like Woohoo???? Or it's all just self-empowering anthems.... boring.
ReplyDeleteBased on what I've been reading, 'Red Hot Love', 'Your Body', 'Let There Be Love' and 'All Around the World' are said to be the most sexually charged songs in that order.
DeleteI don't think anything on the album will hold a match to the slayage and sluttiness of "Woohoo" though.
@Anonymous.. and if there were too many sexy songs, she would be slut/whore/etc. She can't win either way. With that being said, your comment is irrelevent. :)
ReplyDeleteOh i didn't mean it in a bad way, but slutina was my gurl back in the day! ;)
DeleteI dont know about this album xtina
ReplyDeleteMe 2. Sounds like a flop 2 me.
