No Doubt's 'Push & Shove' Projected To Sell...

Thursday, September 27, 2012

Well, the sales aren't "looking hot," but are anyone's these days?

No Doubt's first album in more than a decade is projected to sell around 125K copies, according to Hits Daily Double. All things considered, not bad! We all know how a long hiatus and cold-singles can result in less than ideal album sales.

The fact is, when you compare No Doubt's sales to other similar releases this year, their sales are right in line with today's sales trends - and they accomplished it without the assist of a Top 30 hit single to help sell the album like Usher, Chris Brown and Maroon 5 had.

Compared to Other Releases This Year:
No Doubt "Push and Shove" - 125K
Usher "Looking 4 Myself" - 128K
Chris Brown "Fortune" - 135K
Maroon 5 "Overexposed" - 225K

  1. still sad i only like three songs on the album ("settle down, push & shove" and "looking hot" is kinda catchy).
it just doesn't sound like a no doubt album; it sounds more like a gwen solo album.
