The song just keeps building and building until it can't build anymore. Ellie tosses aside her crisp haunting whisper during the verses for the song's explosive chorus: "I chase your love around a figure 8/I need you more than I can take."
Who said "Diamonds" are forever when there are songs like this floating around out there? "Figure 8" as the next single, please!
