Adele extends her merciless beating of the Billboards Top 200 Albums #1 spot for a 20th week, tying "The Bodyguard Soundtrack" for most weeks at #1. It sold over 237,000 copies before the Grammys aired on Sunday.
Also making history is Whitney Houston, who returns to the Top 10, landing at the #6 spot with her Greatest Hits compilation album. She had 6 albums re-enter the Top 200 after her unfortunate and untimely demise.
Rounding out the top 10 is rapper Drake, who continues to prove longevity selling another 32,000 copies.
On The Hot 100 chart, Kelly Clarkson not only holds on to the #1 spot with "...Stronger" but reached platinum status with the 260,000 sales she reached this week.
Whitney Houston makes a massive leap to the #7 spot, selling just under 200,000 records. (195k)
Finally, Madonna rounds out the top 10 with her promo single "Give Me All Your Lovin,'" selling 165,000 copies. This makes her 38th top 10 hit in the states.
