Exposed: Oh, you though Facebook wasn't watching?

Normally I don't stray away from music posts. Even when I talk about movies, they're tied into music one way or another. Today, while trolling around ATRL, I caught a glimpse of this thread.

Basically, BuzzFeed gathered a bunch of FB status updates of people referring to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day as National Nigger Day, or some awful variation of the term. Do I really need to go on a tirade about this? No, I think I already said my piece about a Lady Gaga who called me a "monkey slave."

People are real brave on Facebook these days.

  1. It's crazy to see how far people go. Martin Luther King and various other civil rights leaders worked so that African Americans could co-exist equally with whites and to see this is upsetting. Racism definitely isn't gone by any means.
