Right around this time of year is a slow period in music. Most artists have either already pumped out their new music to capitalize on holiday sales, or are preparing to release new tunes in January of next year.
Cue songs like these that appear out of nowhere and give you something to listen to during these slow December weeks in music.
Last week, up-incoming English artist Charli XCX premiered her new single "You (Ha Ha Ha)" on BBC's Radio One and I think the shimmering electro-pop track, slightly reminiscent of M.I.A., is a keeper. Listen to the radio rip below:
