Britney and Blackout producer Danja tweeted about working with each other again, and Britney was filmed in a recording studio with Darkchild on X-Factor. Now we have as close to official confirmation as you can get!
In an interview with That Grape Juice, singer/songwriter Elijah Blake confirmed that Team Britney has enlisted the songwriter to submit music for Britney's next studio album: “I think her fans will be surprised by it. I would say its definitely the ‘unexpected’ Britney in so many ways, in that she’s playing with new textures and stomping on new grounds and genres.”
Blake is behind "Climax" by Usher (...keep this in mind, keep reading...) and "No Love Allowed" by Rihanna.
In a related story, Britney's manager Adam Leber just followed producer Diplo on Twitter. Diplo produced "Climax" by Usher which was written by Elijah Blake - so it seems we're getting an Elijah Blake-penned, Diplo produced smash from Britney for her next album.
Exciting times! Britney's next album will more than likely release sometime next year, making this another year when the big three: Britney, Beyonce and Lady GaGa decide to release their latest albums in the same year.

like slave 4 u or i got that boom boom
i liked the femme fatale era music, i just feel like she wasn't feeling it AS MUCH as her previous stuff, hope she can get into it. cause i already am
i really don't see her releasing the album before her wedding (considering all the promo it'd require and a probable world tour, plus her x-nonfactor duties) so i think the earliest she'll release new music is late 2013 early 2014.
ReplyDeleteWhoa I just realised that.
ReplyDelete2008: The Fame, Circus, I Am... Sasha Fierce
2011: Born This Way, Femme Fatale, 4
2013: ARTPOP, Untitled, Untitled
the fame monster was technically not an album so they've been releasing their albums on the same years :D
Britney's next album should be called "Amazing, True Star, Cool"
