Xtina & CeeLo Perform 'World Move' On 'The Voice'

Wednesday, November 14, 2012

Christina Aguilera finally performed a song from "Lotus" - last night, her and CeeLo Green took the stage on  "The Voice" to perform their track "Make the World Move."

For one, I thought Christina's outfit was a good balance of form-fitting, but still representing a popstar. The production value was great and the whole performance was good for the most part - until Aggy had to go in for the scream-turned-croak at 2:27. Christina's voice is shot once she starts trying to reach those upper octaves. Years of poor technique have only accentuated her vocal flaws. How many times do we have to tell Christina that less is more?

  1. She performed it three times in a row and they aired her third attempt of the performance by which she was out of breath. Sources say she nailed the performance first two times but was tired by the third.

    1. I was thinking the same thing! When I pressed play I said out loud "are they about to preform Hips Don't Lie"

  6. It's like Christina still thinks it 1999, and she needs to prove to the world with her voice that she isn't manufactured popstar. Hey, Christina it's been 13 years, we are all very aware that you can sang!

  7. @badlildube You so have a point. I am a huge Xtina fan and this just seems to get worse. Well it's gotten worse post career issues and weight problems. There is some over compensating here for sure.
