Ugh, this VEVO record is being tossed around more than P!nk in the "Try" music video.
Less than a month after One Direction held the record with their music video "Live While We're Young," which had 8.3 million viewers in 24 hours, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj have snatched the record back with their music video for "Beauty and a Beat."
'Beat' had a record shattering 10.4 million VEVO views in 24 hours. I wonder what Sharon Osbourne has to say about this?
The record also makes Justin and Nicki the only two artists to have a piece of the record more than once (Since VEVO view count records were being recorded). Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj held the record when her music video for "Stupid Hoe" premiered to 4.8 million views in 24 hours. A few months later, Justin held the record when his music video for lead single "Boyfriend" premiered.
Coincidentally, One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson just tweeted earlier today that the boys of 1D are filming the music video for their new single, the Dr. Luke produced, "Little Things." Looks like that record might not be Bieber's for much longer.
