Jazz legend Tony Bennett confirmed to Rolling Stone that Lady GaGa has expressed interest in doing a full jazz album with him -- and the feeling is mutual!
The groundwork has already been laid and Bennett confirms that recording for the album will begin "as soon as he can."
"We're gonna do a jazz album with Marion Evans, a big swing band, and I'm looking forward to it because a lot of people don't know it, but she's a phenomenal jazz singer," Bennett told Rolling Stone.
Something tells me this is going to fall by the wayside like the second "Born This Way" music video, the Cher collaboration "The Greatest Thing," and her feature on T.I.'s album "King Uncaged." Who gon' check me, boo?
GaGa and Tony previously collaborated on their 2011 rendition of "The Lady is a Tramp."
I'm absolutely sure of that, I'm stil waiting for The Greatest Thing due to September last year or something like that, and Greatest it's one of my favorite leaked demos of Gaga
ReplyDeleteThis will absolutely happen before He dies. It's going to prove that she's not inferior to Adele. It's her destiny to leave a legacy of shocking achievements. Her jazz album with Tony et al is going to shock; it's going to be that good! I suspect though the it will be more appreciated by music fanatics than by the TOP 40 crowd.
