Wild fan-sparked rumors about Britney Spears and/or Christina Aguilera joining pop queen Madonna on stage for her MDNE Tore MDNA Tour. Most people could have guessed the rumors would end up being a bust, but JustJared.com got the confirmation from both teams.
Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera will NOT be performing with Madonna at upcoming MDNA tour shows in Los Angeles, JustJared.com can confirm.
The pop princesses had been rumored to be joining her Madgesty for a special performance as a follow up to their infamous set at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
“We have no current plans to do anything with Madonna in the near future. We love M and are big supporters but Brit is currently focused on X Factor,” a rep for Britney told JustJared.com.
Sources close to Christina have also confirmed that she does not have any plans to reunite with Madonna at this time.
Sad it's not happening, but I'd much rather it happen on a televised event so we those not in attendance can watch it in decent quality on YouTube later.
