Great first album! Obviously has some flaws and some of the production could be better, but it's a really good first effort.
ReplyDeleteStand-outs include: Radioactive, Facemelt, Roc the Life, RIP & Crazy Girl. Honorable mention goes to Fall in Love, which is really awesome in parts, but some of the production sounds a bit unfinished and odd in places. How We Do (Party) is another great track.
All the other songs are fairly good, but nothing special. Been Lying is nice, but could have better production. Young, Single & Sexy is good-ish, but the lyrics are a little lazy. Love and War isn't bad, but the J-Cole feature isn't used as well as it could be. Shine Ya Light is a nice rock-pop track, but like Uneasy, the production needs a bit of work.
I think with more listens, the songs can be growers.
