Cutesy British singer Kate Nash has announced that she has begun work on her third album... and 2012 just got that much better for me. Kate's first album, Made of Bricks, is one of my all-time favorite albums. It's an upbeat ode to life through real-life lyrics and situations. If you're not familiar with Katy, she's best described as a less intense, happier Regina Spektor.
I’ve been quiet online for a while just living in my rehearsal room and on my sofa finishing writing a bunch of songs. Also being busy busy busy working on photo stuff and artwork ideas. Got something fun ready for record store day too. Just hopped on a flight to NY last night, currently residing in Williamsburg having a few meetings and stuff and then I fly out to LA. So I’m kinda gonna be recording my album very soon. Like real soon. say 6 days time?! It’s exciting. I’m excited. I’m hoping it’s gonna go a little bit like this…
