The Billboard numbers for this week are in. Guess who's number one? If you didn't guess Adele, there is something seriously wrong with you. Next week she'll tie Prince for the most weeks ever at number one. The following week she'll snatch his wig from his perfectly permed scalp and go down in history as the longest running #1 ever. Crazy. Adele's album 19 is also in the top ten, sliding to #7.
Also making crazy moves on the charts this week is Whitney Houston, who still managed to land an astounding three albums into the top ten.
The only debut in the top ten this week belongs to Kid Cudi and Dot da Genius for their WZRD album. Rihanna and Drake also managed to zip back into the top ten this week.
On the singles charts, fun. makes history for being the first rock band in over 3 decades to have their first single land at #1 on the Billboard charts. They were literally neck-and-neck with Kelly Clarkson for the #1 spot.
Nicki Minaj made a big jump this week, up four spots to #6. That's not her only title in the top ten this week, as her single with producer David Guetta sticks to #8 for a second week. She's seeing major radio play!
