Katy Perry Drops "Complete Confection" Cover + Details

Thursday, February 9, 2012

Katy Perry is flaw free on the Teenage Dream re-release cover, which will hit stores March 27th.

The CD will include the original tracklisting + the remixes w/ Missy Elliot and Kanye West + the acoustic retool of "The #1 That Got Away" and a megamix of the 6 singles (which is produced by Tommy sunshine). Then, of course, Perry is offering up 3 new singles. Not sure how many of them will go to radio just yet.

I wonder if she's still going for more #1s and using every possible tactic in the book... and if she does get it, will she break Michael Jackson's record, since it's technically a new album...

Muchas Gracias to Idolator for the info...

  1. katy had major success w/ teenage dream, no doubt, but it's time to start a new project. i'm hoping that she releases a single or two from t his rerelease then debuts something in late august from a new upcoming november release or something. also, i'm not sure if she CAN break mj's record. technically it IS a new album. idt that would be fair. unless of course she releases something else as a single from the original TD. i was pulling for "not like the movies" the entire era and never got it. that song, imo, will forever be the HATLM [of the ff era] or UNUSUAL YOU [of brit's circus era]... that song would have been a solid single that would've gotten her her 6th #1. i love katy but i'm kind of over the candy thing. i want a new, raw katy perry, w/ ballads and a new direction.

  2. I was one of the whining b*tches when i first heard about this collection but now i kinda love the idea. Yes, maybe she's desperate for that #1 but i would like to buy this collection whatsoever. It was a good&successful pop album. And it needs to be crowned with this collection.
