Looks like more and more Britney collabo rumors are getting squished. Two got the axe today. Madonna finally admitted that "Girls Gone Wild" did not feature Britney. Then, Shakira went on NRJ and said she'd never heard of working with Britney or will.i.am.
Poop.
...but seriously, did anyone really think these things were going to happen? Britney would be tweeting up a storm, teasing fans. We can pretty much assume the Nicki Minaj collaboration isn't happening either. Britney fans tried desperately to get Britney + Rihanna on board for a "Birthday Cake" remix, but Rihanna wasn't interested in more fish on the song. #sadface.
I guess when her team said she was taking a break, they meant it.
There's always the will.i.am collaboration, but there's a 99.99999999% chance it's just "Big Fat Bass."
Maybe if her fans pray desperately that she does nothing this year, she'll be more active. She tends to do the exact opposite of what I want her to.

ReplyDeleteas great as Britney Spears no one really wants to work with her and i don't really think she wants to work with anyone else...the person most people want to work with is Lady GaGa, maybe not madonna but most people do!!!!!!!
