With her somewhat slumping in pre-sales, haters we completely ready for the hype-machine known as "Born to Die" to sink faster than Sunnydale when Buffy opened the Hell Mouth and vanquished The First. #NerdMoment. Poor them. Not only did both the standard and deluxe edition of her album storm to the top of the US iTunes charts, she also hold the #3 spot in digital albums on Amazon. More impressive, though, is her success on the UK charts. Rumor has it that her album is outselling the rest of the albums in the top ten combined. That's mega impressive!
What are your predictions for her first week sales in the US and UK?
I think she could land around 200,000 in the US and about 80,000 in the UK.
Check out her live performances at L'Album De La Semaine
She still doesn't wow me live. If I had heard her live before I heard her in the studio, I wouldn't use her at all. I'm not sure she's comfortable with herself live, either. She needs some major vocal training and to actually rehearse her shit before the show. Check out the 2 minute, 30 second mark during "Million Dollar Man." That's another one of those "FUCK" moments.
IDC about Lana but... BUFFY <3 <3

I'm Sorry, I have to say this. I love reading your blogs and I think you are a great blogger but you make so many grammar errors. To get to that next level and be taken more seriously you need to proof read all your stories you are going to submit. It's not just this one.
ReplyDeleteShe's amazing and too bad she's not gonna do that well in the US :(
