Is David Letterman a Lady Gaga stan? I know it's all in good fun, but the shade was epic! You can even tell he was a bit hesitant to tell the joke... but I died!
I want you guys opinion. People say Gaga had a massive effective on Christina Aguilera, but has she also had an effect on Queen Madonna?

ReplyDeleteactually dave had a legendary feud with madonna that lasted most of the 90's; i guess it's back on now.
ReplyDeleteHe was very hesitant indeed. There's a lot of Madonna support because she's been around longer, but he's probably trying to appeal to a younger audience.
ReplyDeleteNonetheless, Madonna has 12 albums out so by definition she's a Queen. Lady Gaga on the other hand is relatively new and fresh; she only has 3 albums out. For now she's nothing more than Princess.
But because of an extremely inspired fan base Lady Gaga has built a mythology around herself as a Mother Goddess of Monsters worldwide. This is the only reason why she's even posited next to Madonna, and it's also the reason why Madonna has even bothered to address Lady Gaga.
The power of social media this generation has ruffled even a Queen. She would do well not to underestimate a rising Princess.
It's a caravan at this point. The bandwagon broke down in 2010 so we had to upgrade to something more safer. :)
ReplyDeleteTeamGaga Bitches!! I love Madonna but after she sang Born This Way/She's not Me she really behaved like a Kid while Gaga didn't attack her back and acted like a grown up. I don't know why Madonna did that, did she expect to win more fame by attacking Gaga, I Thought she had enough talent to win fame by her music and not her bitchiness. Honestly I'm glad Letterman humiliated her, because Madonna has to know that Gaga is not trying to overcome her, they could work together to fight bullies and antigay people, but instead Madonna prefers to humiliate Gaga when she could do some good to this world
