Now, y'all know I have fallen deeply in love with Nicki, but let's not get in over our heads, MTV Buzzworthy. This isn't the first pop crime MTV has allowed their bloggers to commit. Remember when they said "Talk That Talk" was the best pop album of the year? LOL!

Nicki Minaj has eked out a spot at the top of the musical A-list for infusing her hip-hop swagger with a strong pop sensibility ... this new album feels like the natural evolution of the kookiest, most innovative chick currently making music.
We couldn't stop it if we wanted to: Nicki Minaj is a pop superstar now, and at the rate she's going, it's hard to imagine anyone who could rival her rule over the charts.
Is Buzzworthy run by stans? What pop boundaries is Nicki pushing, really? I agree that she is the hottest around chick in the pop game right now, but it's still really early in the year and we have tons of pop releases coming this year. I don't know about this...

So disappointed by her...now we need all the old school rap back: Missy, Lil Kim, Foxy, Eve,..

ReplyDeletehaha yes it must be stans lol....queen no....princess maybe.....they only part of the album i like is the autotuned pop part....and HOV lane from the "rap" section of the disc...i feel she rushed those songs.....
ReplyDeleteI already have a Queen [Gaga], so it doesn't bother me if others want Nicki to be theirs. It's whatever, but the media wanting MADONNA to be the only queen for everyone is annoying.
